Although delivering the inaugural edition required major effort, extended working hours and limited rest, the organizers earned broad approval from players and built a strong international presence that they intend to develop further at the next tournament.
Island-wide backing and a center court by the sea
A center court beside the Mediterranean is once again planned, giving matches a seafront setting. It is due to stage professional exhibitions, finals in the leading categories and the official prize ceremony.
Exhibition matches and other accompanying activities will complement the main draws, combining the sporting competition with tourism and opportunities for participants to spend time together.
