Carlos Alcaraz is over excited about playing the Olympics games in Paris. The Spanish sensation has stated many times that he loves the atmosphere especially the one at the Olympic village.
However, Carlitos has just revealed on social media that he will not be able to take part to the open ceremony because he has two matches to play the day after. Alcaraz will play singles and then doubles with Rafael Nadal. This is Carlitos’s message:
“I was very excited to be able to go to the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics today with Spain, but tomorrow I have two games and it is advisable to rest and be ready! This begins!”

Currently the world no.3, Alcaraz played his last match on the 14th of July when he beat world no.2 Novak Djokovic 6-2 6-2 7-6(4) in the final in Wimbledon to win his 16th career title.
This season the Spaniard owns an overall 33-6 record. The Spaniard conquered 3 titles in 2024 in Indian Wells, French Open and Wimbledon.
