Carlos Alcaraz is scheduled to compete in Acapulco on Tuesday where he is supposed to take on Mackenzie McDonald. However, it is not clear if the Spanish sensation will play in Mexico. Carlito has played a lot of tennis in the last 2 weeks after competing in Buenos Aires, where he won the title, and Rio de Janeiro, where he was the runner-up. Unfortunately, the Spanish teenager was struggling with a leg injury when playing in Brazil. That was the same issue that he was facing at the beginning of the season, which made him miss the Australian summer.

WWWWLWWWWW Currently ranked no.2, Carlos played his last match on the 26th of February when he was defeated by world no.12 Cameron Norrie 5-7 6-4 7-5 in the final in Rio De Janeiro (draw).
During this season Alcaraz achieved a 8-1 record. This year, the Spaniard clinched 1 title in Buenos Aires. Alcaraz reached the final in Rio de Janeiro.
Alcaraz is scheduled to compete next in Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open). He will start to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 8th of March.
