Serena Williams turns 33 today, but probably nobody will really notice that! The American is not as dominant as last year, but when she is in her zone is currently unbeatable on the WTA circuit.
It is interesting that Serena thinks that not playing too much tennis without a plan helped a lot to prolong her great career “As for playing less, I think throughout my career, I think it’s definitely been able to help me have a longer career. I think next year something I definitely want to continue to do is really focus on breaking records in the Slams and doing the best I can in those events and the ones leading up to those,”
Serena has won 63 titles so far (18 slams). In the following week she will compete in Beijing to try to get her 64th.
