Stefanos Tsitsipas has broken in the top20 and he is going for more. The Greek sensation has drawn a lot of attention not only for his fantastic tennis but also for his character. Here some info about his bio, family, and girlfriend.
Small bio
Stefanos was born on August 12, 1998, in Athens from to a Greek father, Apostolos, and a Russian mother, Yulia Sergeyevna Salnikova both tennis coaches.
Stefanos was introduced to tennis when he was only 3-year-old. However, the Greek was also interested in other sports such as swimming and soccer. Apparently, Stefanos decided to be a tennis pro when he was just 9.
Stefanos is fluent in 3 languages: Greek, English, and Russian and he has modeled his tennis following Roger Federer’s style. For this reason, the Greek adopted the one-handed backhand.
A key moment for Tsitsipas was when he moved to the Patrick Mouratoglou Academy in 2015 in France where he trained hard to climb the ATP rankings.
Family
Stefanos’s mother, Yulia Sergeyevna Salnikova, was a professional tennis player that managed to break in the top200 (194 was her best ranking). She is the daughter of Russian football player and manager Sergei Salnikov.
Stefanos’ father, Apostolos, is a tennis coach that studied tennis coaching at the University of Athens. He is Tsitsipas’ primary coach and he follows his son around the world.

Even if Stefanos is quite appreciated by his female fans, he is not reported to have any girlfriend at the moment or he declined to announce any for now. No time for girlfriends, only for tennis…Â that will come later.
