Federer dismisses Rosol in 57 minutes in Monte-Carlo

Another good performance for the Maestro.

Roger had a slow start against Lukas Rosol to find himself 1-3 down in the opener, then…. game over!

The Maestro went back to Roger’s mode to win the 11 of the next 13 games and wrap up the match 6-4 6-1 in less than 1 hour. Match Stats

Roger commented “I think it was a bit rocky in the beginning. I was able to find my way into the match. After four games you usually kind of know what’s going to work, what’s not going to work. At the end I think I had good variation. I also came to the net some. I was effective on break points. My first serve started to work better. So I just think it was a more difficult start to the match.”

Next vs. Tsonga

Roger will play the quarters vs. Tsonga that has beaten a terrible Fognini 5-7 6-3 6-0. Head to head is 10-4 for Roger (1-1 on clay.)
