Tsonga upset by Cilic in Rotterdam

Jo-Wilfred Tsonga is not having a great 2014. The Frenchman didn’t go beyond the 4th round in Melbourne (he lost to Roger Federer) and seeded no. 5 he crashed out in the 2nd round in Rotterdam.

Jo was rather unlucky to play against Marin Cilic so early in the tournament (the Croat has just won in Zagreb), but he was expected to produce some more with his tennis.

Marin broke Tsonga once per set (in the first and in the 5th game) to finally score 62 points vs. Tsonga’s 51. Match Stats.

Cilic will play either Murray or Thiem in the quarters.
