We have a surprising and interesting (all Italian) semifinal in the top part of the draw where Sara Errani will face her best friend and double partner Roberta Vinci. Sara defeated Nadia Petrova 6-4 0-6 6-3 in 2 hours and 31 minutes while Roberta Vinci upset Sam Stosur 6-2 6-4 in just 78 minutes.
Roberta is having an incredible tournament as she defeated (and upset) Kutznetsova, Kerber and Stosur without losing a single set.
