The BNP Paribas Open 2026 will be held from 4 to 15 March at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California. Established in 1976, the tournament celebrates its 50th edition this year. The event director is Tommy Haas.

The singles draw will take place on Monday 2 March at 3 p.m. Qualifying matches are scheduled for 2–3 March, while the main draw runs from 4–13 March with sessions at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The doubles final will be played on 14 March not before 6 p.m., and the singles final on 15 March not before 2 p.m.

The total prize money for the tournament is $9,415,725. The singles champion will earn $1,151,380 and 1000 ranking points, while the doubles champions will share $468,200 and 1000 points.

Jack Draper won the 2025 singles title with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Holger Rune, claiming his first ATP Masters 1000 crown. In doubles, Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic defeated Sebastian Korda and Jordan Thompson 6-3, 6-4.
Records and milestones
Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic share the record for most singles titles at Indian Wells with five each. Federer also holds the record for most match wins at the event with 66. The youngest champion was Boris Becker at 19 in 1987, while Federer became the oldest champion at 35 in 2017. Taylor Fritz remains the last home champion, having triumphed in 2022.
