In the final, Shelton defeated fellow American Taylor Fritz in a dramatic three-set battle. After dropping the first set, he rallied to secure a 3–6, 6–3, 7–5 victory, saving three championship points in the deciding set to claim his fourth career ATP title and second at the 500 level.
