Roger Federer has chosen his new home in the city of roses. He had bought a piece of land on the lake where work for his new house will soon be completed.

It is definite now that the tennis maestro will move to the city of Rapperswil-Jona in the canton of St.Gallen. So the city residents can feel pride in the fact that a world-famous athlete will now inhabit in their city.

The rumour was going on in the media about the new home of the Federer family. Apart from a villa, the house will also have a tennis court, an indoor area of sports and a classroom. The construction for that is scheduled to start in August.

The house will also feature a gallery where Swiss maestro’s Grand Slam achievements will be on display.

The Swiss tabloids had reported earlier that Federer had bought a land spanning sixteen thousand square metres on the picturesque Bay of Kempratner, which is situated on Lake Zurich. The 16,000 square metre plot is full of grass area. Several buildings are going to come up at the site and plan for which has already been submitted as well as approved. Swiss-style of buildings do not block the view of others so buildings will be single storey and will be built in a manner which does not block the view of others.

The owner, Erbgemeinschaft, has already finished the entire project with Swiss partner Architekten and firm BGS. The makers are known to have built world-class properties across the globe.

Federer’s new home will be close to the home of Jorge Paulo Lemann, who is Laver Cup’s investor.

The construction will be made in a style which will not block the view of anyone else’s. The layout and design will be done in a manner which does not annoy or causes even the slightest discomfort to anyone else.

This will be a truly perfect abode for Federer, his loving wife Mirka and their beautiful children.
