On Tuesday, Iga Swiatek debuted her French Open kit in Paris and discovered a companion in the form of Hollywood actress Courteney Cox. The two also engaged in a lighthearted duel.
After winning her first in 2020, Swiatek is preparing for a possible hat-trick at the 2024 French Open. She has already won the tournament twice, in 2022 and 2023. After winning all three of the claycourt WTA 1000 events in Madrid and Rome, the Pole is the clear favourite to compete.
Swiatek showed off her new Grand Slam outfit ahead of her Paris campaign. The world No. 1 wore a purple, white, and reddish-orange sleeveless ombre top and skirt when she partnered with Roger Federer’s On Running in 2023. She added a white hat to finish the ensemble.
It’s interesting to note that Swiatek mentioned in a cryptic Instagram Stories post earlier in the day that she was looking for a “friendly partner.”
She asked: “Hello Paris! Looking for a friendly partner to play doubles with. Who’s in town?”Â

Now ranked no.1, Iga played her last match on the 18th of May when she overcame world no.2 Aryna Sabalenka 6-2 6-3 in the final in Rome to win her 22nd career title.
This season Iga achieved a composed 38-4 match record. Iga has won 5 titles in 2024 in Australia, Doha, Indian Wells, Madrid and Rome.
