Andreescu battling with shoulder injury may still play in Madrid, Rome

The Canadian has a small tear to her shoulder, but she may still very well play during the clay court season.

Shoulder Injury

Bianca Andreescu is probably the player that has impressed the most on the WTA tour in 2019. Coming from nowhere, the 18-year-old entertained the tennis fans with her fantastic tennis and sparkling personality to win Indian Wells after an incredible run.

The young Canadian played a lot of tennis (33 matches) in the first 3 months, and that left a toll on her body. Plagued with injuries, Bianca had to withdraw from Miami when facing Anett Kontaveit in the 4th round and she is now battling with a shoulder injury.
