Weird stuff in Miami as Bianca Andreescu and Angelique Kerber may have a rematch of their recent Indian Wells final already in the 3rd round of the Miami Open.
Why Andreescu and Kerber may clash again so early?
Unfortunately, the organization of the Miami Open is using the seeding that preceded Indian Wells. Therefore, even if Bianca Andreescu is now ranked no.24, she is unseeded in Miami since before her title in the desert she was the world no.60.
The irony is that Bianca is extremely close in the draw to Angelique Kerber and we might have the repetition of their final already in the 3rd round.
