Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka are going to play against each other in the Indian Wells 3rd round. They are scheduled to compete on Monday at 6 pm (Stadium 1).


Roger is in fantastic form. The Swiss sensation has a remarkable 9-1 win-loss record in 2019, and he is definitely one of the top favorites to win Indian Wells (that would be the 6th time for him). Federer got to the 3rd round in the desert after defeating Peter Gojowczyk 6-1 7-5 in the second round.


Ranked no.40, Stan is finally finding is tennis after a long recovery from the knee operation he had back in 2017. Stan has an 11-5 win-loss record, and he reached the final at the ATP500 in Rotterdam in February. The Swiss reached the 3rd round in Indian Wells after beating Daniel Evans 6-7 (4) 6-3 6-3 and Marton Fucsovic 6-4 6-7 (5) 7-5.

This will be the 25th time that Roger and Stan play each other. The head to head is 21-3 for Federer that leads 11-0 on hard courts. Roger is the favorite to reach the 4th round.
