Patrick Mouratoglou And Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic is currently in Adelaide, where he is the top favorite to conquer the current ATP 250 event. The Serbian sensation had a horrible experience in January 2022 in Australia when he was deported. Fortunately, Novak is having a great experience now in Adelaide, with a fantastic reception from the local crowd.

Well-known coach Patrick Mouratoglou was hoping for the former world number 1 having a good welcome Down Under. During a recent interview, he commented:

“I hope the Australians give him a nice welcome because, in my opinion, everything that’s been said about him is so undeserved. I would like them to have respect for the champions. When you go into a tennis stadium and you see Djokovic playing, the least you can do is respect these great champions, whether you like them or not, whether you agree with them or not. I think that’s the minimum,” said Mouratoglou.
