Murray wins interesting opener in Miami

Finally Andy Murray plays a great tennis, but only after losing the first set.

Matt Ebden played a great opening set, but Andy was rather passive. Then the Scott got into his groove to be much more aggressive in the next two sets and concede only a game to Matt. The final score was an odd 3-6 6-0 6-1 (1 hour and 37 minutes.).

From Murray

Andy commented  “He was playing well at the net in the first set. I had six break points, I think, but I couldn’t convert. But I played better in the second and third set. I got broken right at the beginning of the third set, I played a sloppy game and needed to fire myself up, but I turned it around after that and won six games in a row.”

Next vs. Lopez

Andy will play Feliciano Lopez (“Deliciano”for Murray’s mother) in the third round. Head to head is 8-0 for Andy.
