Novak Djokovic seems to be unwilling to play in Australia after he retired from the ATP Cup. However, the Serbian legend is still having fun playing tennis.
Novak has been spending his holidays in Belgrade with family and friends. The world number 1 was caught playing with some people in the street of the Serbian capital as per the following video.
Djokovic and the Australian Open
Unfortunately, there are strong doubts about the participation of Novak Djokovic in the upcoming Australian Open. The world number 1 is notoriously against vaccinations. However, in order to participate in the first slam of the year, tennis players need to be fully vaccinated or receive a special medical exemption that is improbable for athletes.
Originally, Djokovic was on the entry lists of both the ATP Cup and the Australian Open. However, it seems that Novak has retired from the ATP Cup, and it is more and more implausible that he will do the same for the Australian Open unless something special happens.

At the moment, during this season the Serbian has managed to achieve a compiled 55-7 win-loss record. The Serbian has won 5 titles in 2021 at the Australian Open, in Belgrade, at the French Open, in Wimbledon and in Paris. Djokovic was the finalist in Rome and at the U.S. Open.
