Gael Monfils and Elina Svitolina finally tied the knot on Friday in Geneva. Gael and Elina started dating more than 2 years ago to become of of the most well-known tennis couples.
The couple is also well-known for its social media activity often publishing weird and funny videos like the following one.
Some other big personalities like Roger Federer also loved making an appearance in their videos.
Unfortunately, they split for slightly more than 1 month (February) to be reunited again. Gael wanted to bring the relationship to the next level and therefore, he proposed to Elina in April. The (great) result is that they got married on Friday in Geneva.
The wedding
Gael and Elina announced the imminent wedding on Thursday with some not-so-cryptic messages on social media. Monfils said: “Last day as my Fiancé.”
Apparently, everyone had great fun.
