Novak Djokovic and Lorenzo Musetti had an extremely entertaining match in the fourth round of the French Open. Novak Djokovic won that match after the Italian retired in the fifth set. However, it was Lorenzo Musetti who conquered the first 2 sets after playing fantastic tennis.
Djokovic and Musetti are on great terms. The Italian sensation is just 19, and he is supposed to attend the last test at the high school. However, the date of this test has been postponed from16 to 21 June. Therefore, Lorenzo is not able to play any tournament before Wimbledon. In addition, it would be tricky for Lorenzo to travel at the last minute from Italy to the UK with a commercial airplane. In fact, if just one person would be found positive for Coronavirus, all passengers would be isolated. That means that Lorenzo would skip the Championships.
Therefore, Novak Djokovic offered are right to Lorenzo on his private jet when heading to London. Act of a champion!

Currently ranked no.1, the Serbian achieved a 25-3 match record in 2021. Djokovic is currently competing at the French Open where he managed to beat Tennys Sandgren 6-2 6-4 6-2, Pablo Cuevas 6-3 6-2 6-4, Richard Berankis 6-1 6-4 6-1, Lorenzo Musetti 6-77 6-72 6-1 6-0 4-0 ret. and Matteo Berrettini 6-3 6-2 6-75 7-5.
Novak Djokovic will take on the world no.3 Rafael Nadal in the semifinal on Friday at 5:30 pm on Court Philippe CHATRIER. The head to head is 29-28 for Djokovic.
