Robin Haase tested positive in 2006

Strange stuff in Robin Haase’s camp.

Robin revealed to the press that in 2006 he tested positive as he had abnormally high levels of testosterone. After the test Robin received a letter from the ATP hinting the player to get a lawyer and that he would have been tested again 3 times in the following 2 weeks.

In the same latter it was stated that this abnormal levels could have been natural and in fact every time he was controlled soon after the levels were just the same.

Haase: I have enver been afraid

The Dutch commented “I have never been afraid of being pursued for this positive test as it was established that I hadn’t been doping.

“I have been tested a dozen times in 2013, but I think controls in tennis need to be better targeted.”

Robin is now world no. 43 with a 33 career high.
