Padel in the UK has reached a significant milestone with the launch of the first national league of its kind. Vida del Padel, backed by Padel League UK and partnered with Forte Village, has introduced a competition that will run across six venues: Lincoln, Guisborough, Hartlepool, Chichester, Sheffield, and Eston.
Format and prizes
Players will enter as pairs and be placed into divisions according to ability, competing in weekly matches at their home clubs. Winners from each venue will advance to national finals, where they will battle for the Vida del Padel League title. The prize package is valued at more than £5,000 and includes a three‑night stay for two at Forte Village in Sardinia.
Building communities and connecting venues
Ross Carlin, co‑founder of Vida del Padel, emphasized the importance of the initiative. “This is a major milestone not just for Vida del Padel but for the growth of the sport in the UK. We’ve built strong local communities across our venues, and this league connects them for the first time, creating a genuine national competition that is accessible to everyday players while still offering a competitive edge,” he said.

Carlin also highlighted the value of the partnership with Forte Village. “Partnering with Forte Village allows us to reward players with an experience that truly reflects the lifestyle and international spirit of padel,” he added.
Entry details and season start
The inaugural summer season opens for entry in May, with players encouraged to register their interest early. Forte Village, the luxury resort partner, is located on Sardinia’s south coast and spans 123 acres of sub‑tropical gardens, offering a unique reward for the winners of this pioneering competition.
