Rafael Nadal will be at the top of the rankings in few days.

The Spaniard sensation had an amazing season so far after he won 4 tournaments and he has reached 3 finals. Even if Rafa will be the world no.1 because Andy Murray and Roger Federer are injured so as not to compete in Cincinnati, the Mallorcan fully deserves to be there after he has found his best tennis this year after being heavily injured in 2016.

During Cincinnati pre-tournament interview, Rafa commented “It’s been tough to get back to No. 1. I’m happy to have the chance to be in that position.”

Let’s hope that Federer will be back to challenge Nadal to have an exciting season finale. In the meantime, chapeaux for Rafa for being back to world no.1!
