If rumors are any true, the Japanese-American may be in a relationship with up and coming rapper YBN Cordae. With Osaka currently on the defense trail in the U.S. Open, Cordae has been seen in the crowds cheering for her.

Cordae has been photographed with former NFL player Colin Kaepernick while watching Osaka’s match with Poland’s Magna Linette. The fact that Cordae came out and cheered on Osaka has been seen by many as a confirmation that the two are together. While they have been seen in public together multiple times, the two never really answered press questions if they were together.

Cordae and Kaepernick were later joined by former NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, who has confessed to be a fan of Osaka. A few days before the U.S. Open started, Bryant tweeted at Osaka. And it looks like the admiration is mutual. She says that she admires Bryant because she likes athletes who manage to stay at the top of their game for a long time.
After the game, Osaka was interviewed about the public support Kaepernick and Bryant had of her. She said that one of the reasons why she wanted to end the game fast was because she does not want them to stay under the heat of the sun for as long as they did.

YBN Cordae just told the interviewers on the Hot 97 radio show that they are indeed dating! Osaka, for her part, did not exactly hide her liking of Cordae. Earlier this month, when he was asked about the music that she plays on her headphones, she recommended “Lost Boy,” which is the Cordae’s debut record.

Meanwhile, Osaka has been feeling more daring in putting her emotions on display in social media lately. In particular, she was thankful about having a good support system that helped her transition from almost complete anonymity to superstardom after she defeated Serena Williams last year.
She also reflected how her popularity has given her so much pressure to win more matches instead of just enjoying the game. But despite the things that she went through, she insists that she is still the same girl that her fans have grown to admire and love in the past years.
