Djokovic not upset with McEnroe after being compared to Tiger Woods

Novak Djokovic had an extremely easy 2nd round in Wimbledon after he defeated Adam Pavlasek 6-2 6-2 6-1 in just over 1 hour and a half.

On Thursday, the only tricky moment for Novak was when he had to reply to some allegations done by John McEnroe. In fact, the American has compared Nole to Tiger Woods following the problems that the Serbian had with his wife.

John is like that. DJOKOVIC

Nole commented

“Look, John has a complete right to say anybody, really, in the world has a right to say what they want, and I respect that right, especially coming from John, because he’s someone that has earned that right because of who he is and what he has meant to the sport and what he still is representing as a former player and still being very active on the tour.”

He’s very well known for his, you know, kind of bold comments and not really caring too much about being politically correct, but saying whatever is on his mind. I really don’t take anything personally. I always got along very well with John. I guess whether that’s his opinion or criticism or something else, I’m not really sure. But at the end of the day, I respect everything he says.”

Next vs. Gulbis

Going back to the “real tennis,” Nole will have a tough test against Gulbis that has defeated Del Potro in straight sets. The head to head is 6-1 for the world no.4, but an upset is possible.

STILL IN LOVE WITH JOHN?
