Murray breezes past Brown

Andy Murray has no problems in beating Dustin Brown in the Wimbledon 2nd round.

The world no.1 was just too solid for the entertaining German to win the match 6-3 6-2 6-2 without conceding a single break.

Soon after the match, Andy said that both Konta and himself could win The Championships in the same year. I addition, The world no.1 said that high targets have to be set by LTA.

“I don’t know what the level is but aim as high as you can,” Murray explained. “Why not try and get five, six players into the quarterfinals of Slams? Why not?

It’s better to set the goal as high as possible and fall a little bit short than go, Yeah, we’re delighted with five or six players in the second or third round of a Slam.”

 

Next vs. Fognini

Andy will play Fabio Fognini in the 3rd round. The head to head is 3-3, but they have never faced each other on grass where the Briton is the clear favorite.
