Alison Riske is on a roll in her professional life and her success seems to be bleeding out into her personal life. Even then, Riske still had time to prepare for the U.S. Open, which happened a month after her wedding day.

Alison Riske weds Stephen Amritraj

Riske married Amritraj in a gorgeous ceremony in Pittsburgh, PA, where she says most of the work in preparation was done by her fiancé. It is said that the wedding was stylish, with Riske doing a Bollywood dance number in the reception, which she eventually uploaded to her Twitter account. The dance number was set to the song “Nachde Ne Saare” from the famous Bollywood flick “BaarBaarDekho.”

When Riske posted her dance video on Twitter, her Bollywood moves were noticed by Sania Mirza almost immediately. The former WTA Doubles World No. 1 praised her moves for being a good effort.

The ceremony was well-attended by personalities from the tennis world. Both are well-connected in the field of tennis as Amritraj was once a tennis player. He used to represent Duke University in tennis tournaments and was even ranked within the top 200 of the ATP Tour doubles 11 years ago. His father Anand and uncle Vijay were also prolific tennis players. From her side, Riske’s friends and fellow American players Shelby Rogers, CoCoVandeweghe, Jennifer Brady, and Melanie Oudin were seen attending the wedding as well.

Now, Amritraj is no longer playing professionally. However, he still is connected with the sport because he switched to the business side of the game as the current Chief Tennis Officer of Universal Tennis Rating.

Riske and Amritraj may have started their relationship around 2014. Back in 2015, Amritraj and Riske went viral after he was caught on a hot mic motivating her on the side of the court, which helped her secure a top 10 win in a tournament.

since this has come to be a fan favorite, (🤣🕺🏼), I want to share the story of how it came to be! My sister, Sarah, has an Indian customer whose wife, Gayatri, helped us. Gayatri chose the song and came up with the choreography for us. Sarah would visit each month for business and sneak in a dance lesson, learn the moves, slow them down, and then send them to me via text while I was on the road! I started learning it during Dubai in February. We practiced it together for the first time 6 days ago. It was the perfect surprise for @stephenamritraj and his wonderful family! Thanks to @prakashamritraj & @jenny_brady7 for keeping the secret- they were the only ones who knew- along with my family of course! Blessed to be an Amritraj!💞🇺🇸🇮🇳❤️you can watch the rest on my Twitter. Ps. Yes, my sis is pretty kickass.🔥#bollywood #burghbrides
