Camila Giorgi is having a good run at the current tournament in Bronx where she has reached the quarters.
Ranked no. 58, the Italian reached the quarters and she will face Alize Cornet to access the semifinal to further improve her rankings. Camila didn’t manage to play much this year since she used to battle with multiple injuries. However, Giorgi had impressed last month in Washington after she reached the final before losing to Jessica Pegula 6-2 6-2.
