Federer, Murray entertain the crowd in charity match

Roger Federer and Andy Murray gave a fantastic time to the crowd in Zurich in occasion of the Match for Africa 3. After exchanging some shots on the Zurich lake, the duo went to playing in the Zurich Hallenstadion. The fans had the opportunity watch the two legends clashing in a rather entertaining match full of fantastic shots. Eventually, it was Federer to win 6-3 7-6 (5).



 

About Andy’s conditions

The world no.1 is recovering from an injury to his right elbow to have some problems, especially on his serve (in fact he was broken immediately). Andy explained that he is still recovering to comment

“I’m hoping, if I keep progressing as I have with the elbow, to play Monte Carlo. If not, then I just need to stay patient, and I’ll try the following week. I’m getting there; I just have to go slowly.”

The money raised from the event will be donated to the Roger Federer Foundation that is helping children in Africa.

This was a great event, and by the end of the month, there will be another one in Seattle.
