Noha, Mahut join Benetteau on court during Davis Cup rubber

The French team had an extremely easy run against Team GB in the Davis Cup quarts to secure the win after winning the doubles on the 3rd day (3-0). Both teams agreed to play a couple of dead rubbers to entertain the crowd, and something happened during the first dead rubber between Julien Benneteau and Dan Evans.

The Brit was enjoying a very easy match against Julien. Therefore, Yannick Noah and Nicholas Mahut decided to join the forces playing one point with their compatriot.

It’s difficult to understand if that was funny or it made everything to descend into farce. This was a dead rubber, but still, it was a Davis Cup event, so probably some purists would not be pleased by this.

What’s your call?
