Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are well past their prime, but besides that, they still shine in the rankings in the year to date rankings.
Federer
The Swiss had a horrible run in Dubai to crash out in the 3rd round after a terrible match against Donskoy. Still, the Maestro is still leading the 2017 YTD rankings after his Melbourne triumph. He needs to perform well in Indian Wells if he wants to keep this leadership for longer.
Nadal
Rafa had a fantastic week in Acapulco with the (huge) exception of the final when he lost in straight sets to a surprising Sam Querrey. However, Rafa gained 300 points after last week so as to overtake Grigor Dimitrov as the new world no.2 (YTD).
Querrey
Sam went up 64 places in the year to date rankings after he triumphed in Acapulco. He is now ranked no.9.
Here the full rankings.
