What a moment in Toronto!
Serena Williams was forced to withdraw during the Rogers Cup final against home favorite Bianca Andreescu when she was 1-3 down because of a back injury.
The American legend burst into tears, looking inconsolable. On the other side, Bianca didn’t hesitate to go to Serena to comfort her. Unfortunately, Bianca has a rather “good” experience with injuries in her short career, and in a way, she was able to relate to Serena.
Let’s hope to see the 23-slam champion back on her feet soon.
