Marie Bouzkova was born on 21st July 1998. She won the US Open singles title for girls by defeating Anhelina Kalinina in the final match. The twenty-one is having a great Rogers Cup tournament. Born to a family of ardent tennis fans in Prague, Bouzkova picked the sport up at a tender age. She recalls that she would play in the tennis club that her parents owned. And, that she would spend hours hitting almost with everyone. Marie remembers her grandma to be a constant source of inspiration for her and that she still indulges in play at least four times a week. After she displayed her sporting prowess that felt promising, Dad Milan Bouzek along with Marie decided to forge ahead for a budding career.
As a matter of fact, at the age of ten, she came to the United States and spend crucial years at the Academy of Bollettieri. In fact, on those courts, Marie picked up an on-court distinctive accessory: a giant bottle of water that practically dwarfed the five feet nine inches player.
Twenty-year-old Bouzkova through her ranks has had a gradual rise, capped off by a massive run at the finals of the Junior Wimbledon in 2014. Alongside Milan Bouzek her dad, the Spanish coach Cristian Reuqeni have worked to transform her play. As a result, she slowly transitioned from the juniors to the professional circuit seamlessly.
Since 2014, she has amassed at least 10 ITF titles-capturing one every year almost.
Marie is pursuing business Administration currently at East Indiana University and prefers to gain knowledge from the online apps of learning. She loves to unwind in a low-key manner and has said in an interview that: “I honestly love to study after my matches. For the past few days after I finish my matches, we have something to eat here then we go to the hotel and I’m there from like four. The first thing I do is open the computer and I study”.
