Serena and Venus Williams are the top seeds in the Auckland.

Serena has just performed a trip around the world after she headed to Rome where she got engaged with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, to go to the New Zealand. Apparently, Alexis has decided to follow Serena in Auckland.

Serena and Venus will be challenged by their dear friend Caroline Wozniacki that is seeded no.3 and she fell in Venus’ half.

Venus has won the tournament 2 years ago after beating Carline in the final.

The defending champion in Sloane Stephens that will not participate in this edition.
