Murray voted the greatest UK’s sportsman in history

Andy Murray is the man of the moment in the UK’s sport.

The Brit has finally ended the season as the deserving world no.1 after he has won his 2nd Wimbledon and, more important for his country, his 2nd Olympic gold in Rio.

Andy is widely expected to win for the third time the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year, but in the meantime, he receives a very important award from The Telegraph that named him the greatest UK’s sportsman in history after a poll.

It means a lot to me. MURRAY

It was Judy Murray to accept the award for his son that wasn’t able to collect it. Andy commented

“I am honored to receive this award. It means a great deal, particularly when it has been voted on by the public and a panel of sportspeople, and journalists I admire and respect. When I look at what the other people on the list have achieved it makes me feel very humble to come out on top, it must have been a very close vote.”

What a tear Andy, what a year!
