Great news for the Sofia Open after that Dimitrov, Thiem and now Goffin confirm their participation to the 2017 edition.
The tournament has started in 2016 with Roberto Agut winning the title after he defeated Troicki 6-3 6-4. The line-up will be even more exciting in 2017 also after Goffin confirmed his participation
“I am looking forward to playing in Sofia,” Goffin commented. “I had my best year in 2016, and I would like to start the next season at the same level. I am also looking forward to seeing the city of Sofia.”

Tournament Director Paul McNamee commented
“David is a rising star and a great addition to the field. We now have confirmations from three Top 15 players and four of the Top 20. I’m glad the Bulgarian audience will be able to enjoy tennis at such a high level.”
The tournament will take place at “Arena Armeec” from 5-12 February 2017.
