Novak Djokovic raised more than one eyebrow when he recently stated that he would not be accompanied by his coaches in Paris, but by his new spiritual guru Pepe Imaz.
The world no.1 would be better to use this new energy from the very beginning because he will play an in-form (and always dangerous) Gilles Muller in the opener.
The head to head
Nole has a 3-0 head to head record against Muller, but he has often struggled against the Luxembourger. The last time they played each other it was this year in Toronto when Novak won 7-5 7-6 (3).
Prediction
Usually, we would say Djokovic in two, but given the circumstances (no coach + spiritual guru), an upset is quite plausible.
