At almost 38 years of age, Roger Federer is not done with improving. The Swiss sensation was inches from winning his 9th Wimbledon a couple of weeks ago after being unable to convert 2 consecutive championship points when he was on serve against Novak Djokovic, and he will definitely try to go 1 step further at the upcoming US Open.

The Swiss Maestro was filmed training with the new Wilson Clash to raise some questions. The 20-time slam champion is currently playing with the RF97 Pro Staff a racket that seems to be really good for Roger that has also managed to find a great set up on his backhand.

Will Roger Federer change his racket?

After the video was circulating, the tennis fans were wondering if Roger will use the new stick already at the upcoming US Open. however, Wilson denied that to state

“He will continue to use his Pro Staff RF97, but as a dedicated partner to the brand, he is always playtesting and providing feedback on all of our newest innovations!”

Federer’s next tournaments

After playing the Championships, Roger decided to take a long break and skip the Rogers Cup in Montreal that will start on the 5th of August. Instead, Federer will get back in Cincinnati where he has won the title already on 7 occasions.
