The court is on fire!
During a match in Casablanca (challenger) between Arthur De Greef and Maxime Janvier, the organization took a weird approach to dry the court. They put it on fire!
The technique
Apparently, it wasn’t the first time that this has been done. According to ATP Challenger Tour supervisor, Carl Baldwin, “we had a long rain break, and the side of the court was still holding a lot of water on the surface. To solve this, you pour gas on it and set it alight. This isn’t commonly done, but I have seen it before.”
