Juan Martin Del Potro is not having one of the best moments of his career.
Last year the Argentine fractured his kneecap, and after a long rehabilitation, he seemed to be well on his way to recovery. Unfortunately, the Tower of Tandil got injured again to the same knee while playing against Denis Shapovalov at the Queen’s Club. Juan Martin won that match, but unfortunately, he had to undergo yet another surgery.
Del Potro has managed to get rid of his crutches to start another period of rehabilitation, but in the meantime, he took some days off in Patagonia with his stunning new girlfriend Sofia Juiuy Jimenez.
Who is Del Potro’s girlfriend Sofia Juiuy Jimenez?
Born on the 23rd of January of 1991 in San Salvador de Jujuy (Argentina), Sofia is the daughter of Edi Jimenez, an agronomist, and Silvia, a lawyer and she has two sisters. Sofia is a model, actress, and conductor and she was linked to Guillermo Pelado López (also a conductor) for 5 years. Eventually, they parted ways, and she is now dating Juan Martin. She was recently spotted during Del Potro’s match in Rome against Novak Djokovic that the Argentine lost 4-6 7-6 (6) 6-4 after being inches from victory.
Del Potro was previously dating Guido Pella’s current girlfriend and model Stephanie Demner and according to Stephanie, the relationship ended because Juan Martin cheated on her.
Later Del Potro dated another model, Julia Rohden, but also that relationship ended.
