This is what has happened against Argentina. In the first day, Andy lost to an inspired Del Potro before winning the doubles and the second singles to made his team to recover a 0-2 deficit (2-all). Eventually, Evans couldn’t win the decisive rubber to lose 4-6 6-3 6-2 6-4.

After the match, an emotional Leonardo Mayer commented
“I am very emotional. I haven’t been able to play because of injury, so I am delighted to be back on form. I do not know what it is about the Davis Cup it brings out the best in me.”
Argentina will face Croatia in the final.
