Christina McHale wins her maiden title in Tokyo

Christina McHale finally wins her first career title in Tokyo.

The world no.53 defeated Katerina Siniakova 3-6 6-4 6-4 in the final. The American has won all matches in 3 sets, and she played 13 hours of tennis during the week (but it was worth the effort).

I do not want to leave my trophy. MCHALE

Christina was obviously ecstatic after this week to comment

“I don’t even want to put my trophy down – I just want to hold it all the time. I’ve been coming to this tournament for a few years now, and I really love it here. Thanks to all the fans and everyone here for sticking through all the rain delays – we’ve had a few, especially today!”
