Simona Halep is more and more a national hero in Romania.
The former world no.1 won a fantastic title in Wimbledon after conceding just 4 games to the great Serena Williams in the final (6-2 6-2). Simona had already an amazing welcoming at home when she conquered her first slam in Paris last year. This year she was blessed with the presence of 30.000 people in Romania chanting her name at the stadium when she presented the trophy.
Simona will now take a break before getting ready to play in Toronto at the beginning of August. Life is pretty nice for her right now.
