Raonic recovers from 2 sets down against Goffin

Milos Raonic had to dig (extremely) deep to reach the quarters in Wimbledon. Milos was two sets down against David Goffin after he was broken three times. Then, the Canadian found his range to break Goffin once for per set (3rd, 4th, and 5th) without conceding his serve anymore. The final result was 4-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 6-4.

I allowed him to play on his terms. RAONIC

After the match, Milos commented “I allowed him to play too much on his terms. I was getting the balls in and playing the points and playing maybe better-looking tennis at the beginning, and I gave up on that and said ‘I’ve got to play this on my terms.’ Maybe I made a few more unforced errors, but I was hitting through the court more and not allowing him to play the way he wanted to.”

Next vs. Querrey

Milos will play a surprising Sam Querrey in the quarters. The head to head is 2-1 for the American that has already beaten Raonic in Wimbledon (2012).
