Murray too good for Kyrgios in Wimbledon

Once again Andy Murray was too good for Nick Kyrgios!

The Brit dismisses Kyrgios 7-5 6-1 6-4 in the Wimbledon 4th round. Andy had an extremely tidy match to break Kyrgios 4 times without conceding even one break point. Eventually, the world no.2 won 96 points vs. Kyrgios’ 67. After this encounter, Murray leads 5-0 in head to head matches against the Australian.

It was pretty pathetic. KYRGIOS

Nick was extremely disappointed with his tennis to comment “It was a good first set, the rest of the match was pretty pathetic. I was really comfortable out there in the first set, and I believed I could win the match, but after I lost the first set, I felt like I had a mountain to climb.”

From Murray

Andy commented “The first set was very tight. I managed to get the break at 6-5, but it was very tight up to that point. The second set was obviously more comfortable. Nick lost his focus a bit in the middle part of that set.

But then in the third set, again he served a high percentage but when I was able to get the ball back in play, I was able to dictate a lot of the rallies, and I managed to get an early break.”

The quarters vs. Tsonga

Andy will play for a place in the semifinal against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. The head to head is 12-2 for Murray, 5-0 on grass.
