Novak Djokovic is about to lose the opportunity to win the calendar Grand Slam. The world no.1 is considered as the big favorite for the title in Wimbledon so as to have a big shot at a memorable year, at least before today.
Things got sideway for Novak that has lost two sets against a surprising Sam Querrey in the 3rd round at the Championships. The American won the first set at the breaker at the third set point; then, Sam trashed Djokovic in the second set at 1. Eventually, the match was suspended for rain when Querrey was leading 7-6 (6) 6-1.
Djokovic has recovered a 0-2 sets deficit four times in his career. The last time the world no.1 reversed such a score was last year in Wimbledon against Anderson. He needs to do that once more.
