Nick Kyrgios is probably the most dangerous floater in Wimbledon and given his recent spats with Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal there was a sort of “appetite” about seeing the Australian clashing against either the Serbian or the Spaniard. Eventually, it was Rafa to have the “honour” as the Mallorcan will probably play the erratic Australian in the 2nd round at the Championships.
Kyrgios, Nadal Controversy
Back in February, Kyrgios upset Nadal in the 2nd round in Acapulco after a rather heated contest that Kyrgios won at the decisive breaker after saving a match point. The Australian was at his “very best” with his antics during that match and that wasn’t appreciated at all by Nadal that offered probably the coldest handshake of his great career after the fight. In the press conference that followed the match, Nadal didn’t hesitate to stress the fact that Kyrgios is disrespectful with everyone.
