Radwanska back no.2, Sharapova no.24, Keys back in top20

Agnieszka Radwanska and Angelique Kerber didn’t win a single match since Stuttgart, and for some “strange reasons”, they keep on swapping places in the rankings to claim and lose the 2nd spot every week.

This time, it is Agnieszka to claim back the world n.2 spot even if she hasn’t played in Rome; the Pole took advantage of the fact that Kerber lost in the opener in Italy.

Madison Keys

The American had a great run in Italy to reach an inspiring final before losing to Serena Williams. After her tournament in Rome, Madison is back in the top20 (no 17). According to Serena, one day she will be the world no.1.

Pennetta

Flavia is retired for long, but since Petra Kvitova lost three places in the rankings, the Italian is curiously back in the top10. That won’t last!

Sharapova

Maria is still sidelined by the doping suspension. The Russian beauty loses 12 places to be the new world no.24. More misery to come in the rankings.
