Another great performance for Alexander Zverev and another day of misery for Grigor Dimitrov. The young German had no problems in dismissing Dimitrov 6-1 6-4 in 69 minutes in the Rome 1st round. Zverev 62 scoring points vs. Dimitrov’s 36.
After this match, Zverev has a 7-3 record on clay in the season while Dimitrov has a dismal 4-4. This is the 3rd consecutive match lost by Grigor that looks unable to bounce back.
Zverev will now play Roger Federer in the 2nd round. A match not to be missed.
