Bernard Tomic has hit the headlines for the wrong reason once again when he “refused” to play a match point against Fognini in Madrid. The entire tennis world (and beyond) criticized the Australian for that behavior, and also the world no.1 was not very impressed.

Nole criticized Tomic’s behavior to state “I’ve seen what he has done. It’s not right, and I hope he realizes that. I’m just hoping for him, because over the last couple of years I got to know him better and he’s a good guy, he’s a good person, but he’s just failing to be committed to this sport as it is required.”

Then the world no.1 added “I think just too many things that he says are not well thought out from his side. He gets emotional very quickly and things get out of context. Unfortunately, it fires back right at him. As somebody that knows him well, and I really think he’s a good guy, I hope he’s going to get it right.”
